Best pasta all’amatriciana we’ve ever eaten. Amazing with primitivo puglia. Service is perfect, really kind people. Highly recommended if you’re not looking for lots of tourists, very calm, really loved it
The waiter was very kind to us and even suggested not getting the house wine as it was colored water. We had the Syrah and it was delicious. I had the veal and my wife had the carbonara. Neither disappointed us! The dessert was amazing. Kind of disappointed that we didn’t get the tiramisu but either way this was great.
Great family restaurant often overlooked due to influencers recommending the nearby Tonnarello. But the food here is fantastic. Best pasta we have had in Rome so far and the service is great. The family make their own chilli sauce too which is a great addition to the pasta dishes. So good!
A lovely little place , with great service and lovely food. The wines ,both red and white were excellent, and the White Lasagne with Pistachio pesto was divine!
The prices were good too, especially for the quality of the food received.
We will be back!
This spot is just off the main drag in Trastevere on a quiet side street. Everyone we spoke with was warm, hospitable, and proud of the home-made meals, local and Pugliese menu, and family recipes on offer. We had truly extraordinary pastas -- in particular the cacio pepe was wonderfully delicate and we could tell that the ravioli was fresh and homemade. We also enjoyed two great lamb chop secondis (two different preparations). A warm local spot that can accommodate anything from an intimate date to a slightly chaotic family. Highly recommended.
excellent.
got the spinach ravioli with walnut and radicchio, cacio e pepe, meatballs, tiramisu and pannecotta double chocolate 😙🤌
perfect jazzy tunes and friendly service that even jeff goldblum would approve of.
This restaurant is small with seating for MAYBE 30 people max. It's a little bit more off the beaten path and worth it. A little quieter, more personal service, and a lovely surrounding. (We sat outside with fragrant jasmine vines climbing the wall next to us.) The food was the BEST that we ate while we were in Rome. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was especially delicious. The meatballs were juicy, flavorful, delicious, and clearly freshly made. Prices were very reasonable. The husband and wife owners did service personally and were friendly, helpful, and made the experience great! Definitely give it a try if you have the chance!
I had the best carbonara of my life. Great food & great wine. I seriously can't complain!
Try the carbonara and thank me later!! 🤗💯
